What is the difference between Deckplan 1 and 8? I ask because I see deckplan 8 and cheaper.

Oasis ship. Getting an ocean view balcony room.

They aren't decks, but categories. D1 has a bigger balcony. Otherwise the cabins are the same size but in different locations.

Carolyn and I both assume that you are trying to decipher the abbreviations: D1 and D8.

 

And yes, it refers to cabin category D. A D cabin on the Oasis/Allure is a standard balcony cabin. They are all the same size, with one of two symmetrical layouts.

 

The D1 has an extended balcony. The other seven categories are all the same.
