#1TravelMom Posted August 23, 2014 #4 Share Posted August 23, 2014 Stingray Sailing is FABULOUS! We had a great day with them. The boat is very nice. They have great equipment. First class excursion!!!
mare0207 Posted September 3, 2014 #5 Share Posted September 3, 2014 Ive decided to do stingray city here and a beach. Which is the best company to use for the excursion and which beach? Basically, someone tell me the best excursion to take =) Ages, 65, 43, 16 & 10 Thank you. We used Stingray sailing and they were amazing!!! You can't go wrong here. After the stingray and snorkeling, they will offer to drop you off at the beach or at the pier to continue your day. Our party of 9 consisted of 84, 76, parents all the way down to my 12 year old nephew. We all had an amazing time. Email me at macherenzia@gmail.com for more details if you want. Have fun:)
Tommy.Lee_1 Posted September 13, 2014 #6 Share Posted September 13, 2014 lowest cost? barter with booking agents at the port, down to like 25 per head then ask bus driver to drop you at “royal palms” on the way back to the ship. have a great swim beach and pool… drinks are pricey… and service a bit slow… it like 3 miles north of the cruise ship port. take a $2 per head taxi back to port after a few hours best experience? google the company that does national geographic and stingray city combo tour… and ask to be dropped at the beach.. Boozebabe Posted September 14, 2014 #7 Share Posted September 14, 2014 (edited) For the life of me I can't remember the name oif the company we used. Its something like Nature or Natural Divers. I'll try to find it. It was the BEST tour. We stopped at Sting Ray City (we were the first boat there) then snorkelling at the reef then beach and lunch (yummy) at Rum Point. So much cheaper than what the ship was charging and the ship tour did NOT include the lunch. I'll look for the name of the company. People of all ages were on our boat. From kids to 70 somethings. Rum Point is by far the easiest place to get into the water. The sand underneath is packed tight there for some reason. Very gentle waves too and not deep. cc cruiser Posted September 14, 2014 #8 Share Posted September 14, 2014 We've gone out to Stingray City & snorkeling with Soto Cruises four times before. Great experience. And a bargain at $35. (Just google Soto Cruises)
