bob7judy Posted August 20, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 20, 2014 I have an offer for a casino cruise at a supposedly reduced price, but I can book as a past guest for $125 less. Are the amenities available on a casino cruise worth $125? Thanks for your input.
CATGUY7 Posted August 20, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 20, 2014 (edited) We received it too, and are also weighing our options. Thank you for asking this question! Edit: When I called to inquire about rates, I was told that the full booking had to be paid at the time of reservation. So no cancellation if we change mind, unless insurance would cover, I guess? CATGUY7 Posted August 20, 2014 #5 Share Posted August 20, 2014 This was our offer. Stateroom is $ 67.00 p/p more than advertised price: * $75 in Casino Cash * A dedicated VIP host * VIP-only Welcome Aboard Cocktail Party * Complimentary beverages while playing in the Casino * Exclusive VIP-only tournaments * Special in-stateroom amenities * Commemorative VIP Cruise gift * Chance to win a FREE Princess cruise Since we can't use a future cruise credit, that OBC can't be included in the consideration. eclue Posted August 20, 2014 #6 Share Posted August 20, 2014 We did the casino cruise last year on the Caribbean Princess from Houston. The price of the stateroom was the same( we had a mini suite ), they also gave us $100 each for casino cash, we had free drinks in the casino for the entire cruise, got some nice gifts in our stateroom, went to the casino party which was nice, a nice bottle of champagne and of course the drawings for the free cruise, etc. I would definitely do it again...hoping we get the offer soon. eclue:rolleyes:

CATGUY7 Posted August 21, 2014 #8 Share Posted August 21, 2014 Which cruise is this? There were several cruises to choose from - we received an email, and had to give our member number to talk with the rep. about it. We really aren't big spenders, so aren't sure why we received the offer. But we do appreciate the offer!
