Electronic cigarettes

I just wondered if elecronic cigarettes are allowed on board RCI ships, now when smoking no longer is allowed on private balconies.

I bave seen that NCL prohibits electronic cigarettes too (from November) which I find remarkable. No fire danger, no smell, no ashtrays.... Nothing for anybody to dislike!

How is the practice on RCI ships? Anyone who knows?

E-Cigarettes are only allowed in the smoking areas.

E-Cigs contain chemicals released into the air so they are treated the same as cigarettes.
