Sailing on a New Years cruise for the first time

Is there anything special that NCL will do for New Years Eve (particularly on the Breakaway?)

Oh yes, get ready to party. There are usually 3 or 4 areas with parties going on. Deck ones include champagne on ice in hot tubs, indoor balloon drops. Ice carvings, party hats etc etc. breakaway will host a party at h20 also
