I'm thrilled to be able to share my recent experience on Norwegian Getaway's 8/23 - 8/30 cruise. Wow, what a fantastic review. Lovely writing style, you have a great way with words. Beautifully put together website.

 

I was among the first passengers to sail on the Getaway before it set sail on its maiden transatlantic. I agree wholeheartedly with your comments about the ship. Everything is perfect. I am travelling on Epic soon and hoping I enjoy it as much as the Getaway!

Question for you, you said it wasn't hard to get deck chairs even on sea days. Was your ship full? I've heard others complain but it might just be those types of people who are never happy. I'd be interested in what you have to say. How about the pool itself? Crowded?

As far as I know, our sailing was fairly full. The pool itself is tiny and was definitely crowded on sea days, but deck chairs weren't too bad.

I just started reading the review and wanted to tell you I'm already impressed with it. The photos are beautiful and your writing style is not what I would expect from a teenager. Very informative and well written. Thank you for taking the time to put together such a wonderful review. I'm not going on Getaway, but on the Breakaway, and it's making me excited to sail on such a beautiful ship.

This review was fantastic. Please continue to write reviews. Just to let you know I think that this ranks up with Don's review of the Epic from a few years ago. Did not think anyone would come close.

 

You even have me wanting to eat at La Cucina. Never thought that would happen.

 

Sent your review also to members of my family who think that cruising would be boring and bad food.

I hate when people reply to a post and include all the photos, but i am doing it anyway.

I especially LOVE that first shot of the Getaway head on. Never seen anything like it before.
