Any advice car rental

We will be on the breakaway on 9/7 - 9/14 - when we return we want to drive to the Borgata in A/C - then to Brooklyn for a few days - leaving back to Haiti - JFK on 9/21 - can anybody help with where an affordable - reliable place to rent from may be - my only real idea is to go to JFK after the cruise either with a NCL transfer or a cab - better variety and I imagine cheaper

Most of the major car rental agencies have pick up points on 11th and 12th Ave near the pier and the Lincoln Tunnel. Have you priced them with a pickup near the pier and a return to JFK? Why would you want to spent $75+ and the time to schlep out to JFK and then pay the tolls to come back to NJ? Am I missing something here?

Look into catching a casino bus to Atlantic city. There aren't any that go directly to the Borgota, but you can take a jitney, or a cab. This will save money. Greyhound Lucky Streak has drop off and pick up in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

the car rentals - from those spots all get such bad reviews - whether its waiting for hours to get a car - then the car is in bad shape - to shady workers - so thats what is confusing me - looking for someone that can recommend someplace close that they have used - dont want to go JfK - LAST RESORT
