Those with kids in school: When is YOUR Spring Break 2015?

Just wondered what different weeks will have off in different areas of the country. I know it can vary and it is not always connected to the Easter holiday.

We are in the Augusta area so ours is always the week of the Masters.

MA public schools are off April 18th - 26th. President's week is also a vacation week here.

Reporting from Texas. For my family spring break is March 15th. This accounts for two separate school districts one in San Antonio and one in the Houston area as well as UT Austin. (one daughter teaches, one in collage and one in High School)

Los Angeles Unified is March 30th-April 3rd - most of the private schools in Los Angeles have off the week of April 6th-10th.

In CA, it is usually either the week before or the week after Easter.

DS(20) goes to a university in Michigan. His spring break is always the first week of March. DD(17) goes to a high school in Michigan. Her spring break is always the first week of April.

Just south of atlanta: week of 4/6/15. Winter break week is the week of 2/16/15.

A friend's county next to us is the 4/20/15.

We live in Wisconsin and ours is 3rd week In March and some years it's the second week in March.

Unless you're going on a cruise longer than 7 days, I'd stay away from the month of March. :D
