Gem Drydock

Anyone know why the are not revamping the Gem until late 2015

I am really upset since I was looking forward to sailing in January 2015 on the new and improved Gem

I have been sailing the "old" Gem a couple of times, and think it is a beautiful ship - in fact it is my favorite NCL ship, so in my opinion you don't have much reason to be upset - even with the dry dock scheduled to be after your cruise. Continue looking forward to your cruise instead. :)

The drydocking usually takes place every 5 years, so if the last one was in 2010 then 2015 sounds just right.... :)

We were on board the week they found out about the change, the HD told me they didn't give him a reason.

 

Don't be disappointed! You'll still have Blue Lagoon and she's still a gorgeous ship!
