Casino hours on Brilliance

I know that the casino cannot be open while in port and the ship has to be "out to sea" or in international waters. So is the casino open on the first night of the cruise out of Tampa when it is the first stop is Key West?

Yes. It will be open while cruising, but will be closed while in port at Key West. It will be the same with all ports of call.

The casino will open at Noon on sea days and as soon as you leave port otherwise. Typically open to 1 or 2 a.m. depending on the number of people gambling during the late night hours.

Better hope you don't have a problem with cigarette smoke as many people are now complaining that since balcony smoking has been banned a lot of smokers are now flocking to the casino!! LOL!!

Depends on itinerary. We were on Baltic cruise on brilliance and casino was empty. Limited gamblers and never noticed people just smoking. And we were in there a lot.

I can deal with the smoking in the casino for a while. I have a balcony on this cruise so i am glad there is no smoking on the balcony's now. :)

 

Thanks for the answers on the hours. I am looking forward to this cruise so much. Especially if the winter is as bad as last year.

Speaking of ship casinos....what happens with taxes if you win a jackpot? It's a long shot, but you just never know.... :)
