HA, got your attention! Well what I was going to say is today is the day I try to cram all the stuff I have hanging on the garment rack, sitting on the bed, lying on the floor and strewn thru out the house into the suitcases. For some reason I am reluctant to get started actually putting my pristinely pressed and new clothes into the suitcase, I have no reluctance to get going on the cruise...it must have something to do with folding them up. I have gone over my lists a zillion times so I think I have everything necessary, just have to get with it and pack. You would think after all the anticipation that I would be eager to pack, I just don't understand it. Sissy

I'm having nightmares that nothing is going to fit (in my suitcase that is). Have been buying and buying. I'm sure you'll settle down, and it will all get perfectly packed. How in the world are you going to manage for your big one?

Hi Sissy!

I, too, have "foldaphobia!" Maybe it's a subconcious fear that whatever doesn't fit in the suitcase must be left at home and we couldn't bear to part with any of our newly acquired treasures!!

Hope you have a wonderful time and can post some pictures when you return. I just viewed the ones Lois posted. It's so much fun to be able to put a face with a name and to see a friend from the boards having so much fun!

Hi Sissy!!! Oh, sweetie, I know what you are saying. Remember the week before my cruise a couple of weeks ago I was feeling kind of yukka? It was because I packed all my things the week before and had nothing to do the whole week before the cruise. For me, part of the vacation process is the planning process! And when that was complete the week before, well, the duldrums set in for me.

 

Now, if you decide to pack your outfits, and they are wrinkled upon arrival, hang them in the bathroom while you are showering. The steam will dissipate the wrinkles. Trust me it works!!!

Well my bags are all packed and just waiting to be closed up and on their way. JanetMarie, I have tried to leave some fun things to do for the last few days...Today we have a Spring progam to go to, my 4 year old grandson Matthew will be singing Cherokee songs and our daughter made 18 traditional ribbon shirts for them to wear. I have my last tanning session this afternoon and tomorrow I have a mani/pedi, Saturday we are taking our cat to our daughter's house to catsit and dying Easter eggs with Matthew and she has promised me Chinese Chicken salad for dinner...then we are out of here on Sunday and in FLL on Monday,and the Island Princess leaves port on Wednesday. YIPEE. Sissy
