grayjay Posted September 12, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 12, 2014 (edited) It is just a very short drive vom Aeroparque to port, so it shouldn't be expensive, just a few $ US. (We paid about 40$ from the international airport (EZE) to the city of Buenos Aires, and that's more than half an hour's drive away.) Very important: Choose one of the booths for taxis and private transfers available directly after you have collected your luggage and exit into the main hall. You can pay there in US-$ or by credit card. They are reliable and someone will take you and your luggage to the car and driver. A word of warning if you should disembark in Buenos Aires: Try to use the ship's transfer to the airport or have private transfer ready to pick you up. There's a taxi mafia at the port entrance charging excessive prices and it is impossible to avoid them if you are not prepared to WALK into the city . We paid four or five times the fare back to our hotel in B.A. compared to what we had to pay to a reliable taxi driver procured by our hotel. Thank you for your help. There are private transfer booths that front both the baggage claim area and the main hall. The only taxi service from Aeroparque is the taxi line outside the airport, and I don't recommend it.
