Caribbean ports to rent sailboat

Hello - This post is not specific to this forum, but to the Caribbean in general. A friend of mine and I are planning a cruise in December. He wants to go to a port where you can rent a small sail boat. Is there anyone here who can advise which ports might offer sail boats you can rent off the beach? He is not interested in a large yacht where you don't actually do any of the "work". He wants to lower the jib, raise the sail, or some other "sail speak" that I don't understand ;) Thanks!

At least on St Thomas, I don't know any place you can rent something bigger than a Hobie Cat. Many beaches have non-motorized water "toys".

Have you tried a Google search? I don't think I've ever seen a small sail boat rentals on any islad, but the British Virgin Islands would be a good place to start looking. Supposedly Sailing Capital of the World.
