Statendam cabin assigned...will this be noisy?

We are taking a short 5 day excursion on Statendam. With this being a segment of longer journey we were only able to book a guarantee which we had never done. We were assigned SA 003 which is the stateroom next to the penthouse on the starboard side. It is next to the forward elevators. Will we have a lot of elevator noise in our cabin? The elevators will be handy, but if they will be a disturbance I'm not very excited. Thanks for any input!

You will be very happy with that cabin. We have stayed in 001 (PS) and it is closer to the elevators than your cabin. You will not hear any noise. You are not against the forward elevators.

You will not hear the elevators while in your cabin. You may hear them ding when out in the hallway. However you may hear noise from above - like chairs scraping on floor in the Lido and possible noise from the kitchen of the Terrace Grill, now call Dive-In.

You won't hear any noise from the elevators. We've been in this cabin before and there really wasn't any noise from above either.

Just go enjoy your cruise and staying in a suite. You couldn't ask for more in my estimation.

Being near the elevators is a plus...not a negative! Very convenient.
