Is it better or cheaper to purchase our next cruise on board or not?

It may be better, frequently you will get some on board credit for booking on board. You may transfer the booking to your TA if you wish, especially if you can get better pricing - the credit you get for booking onboard stays with your booking if it is transferred.

If you can't decide on what itinerary or when to go on your next cruise, just be sure to buy a Future Cruise deposit for 100.00 when onboard. Then when you decide, you can apply that as your deposit, and depending on cruise length and catagory you book, you can receive up to $250.00 OBC to use on your future cruise.

You can purchase future cruise credit onboard and then book either onboard or at home. As long as you have the FCCs, it doesn't make a difference whether you book onboard or not.

I've never seen a difference in price between what the onboard cruise consultant quotes me and what's on the Princess website. But I infrequently check on prices of a specific cruise. I usually don't have one picked out and buy the future cruise credits instead.

We never book onboard.

Just buy FCC's and book when we get home. ;)
