Services to the Spa Terrace on Marina.

We are determine to have some quality time on the Marina next cruise and in doing so plan to make use of the Spa Terrace and pool.

 

It says on the O web site - "Alcoholic beverages are not served or permitted in SpaClub." Does this apply to the Terrace Pool area and is there any type of food or beverage service in this area?

There is no service on the spa deck ...there was a cart just outside the door to the deck with soft drinks & water

Thanks - I thought it might be a nice alternative to the main pool as on the 2 occasions we have tried it was impossible to get 2 lounges together or any where near the pool but I do like the idea of ordering a Margarita or two. Maybe we need to get up early and become a Lounge Hogs :D - Kidding - hate them!

It's not a pool but a hot tub. Even tho there is no service there it is a quiet place to sit with very nice lounges. I went out and brought back sodas ect so I don't believe it would matter what you brought back.

There is NO ONE there guarding the fort.

I doubt there would be a problem taking two margaritas back there.

Only if you define "problem" strictly in the sense of getting caught, which is a slippery slope. The honor system library would be in trouble if we all maintained our affairs that way :p.

 

To pick a final nit, the Spa decks are at the front of each of the ships, so one would bring things up there, not back there. ;)

Taking a drink to the spa deck is not akin to stealing books from the library.

I supposed when you take on A LOT more wine than the "stated limit" in O's regulations that's not a slippery slope? Lighten up.

In order to take a drink to the spa deck you pass the reception girls so they may stop you

Thanks - My vision of a waiter serving us cocktails and snacks as we bathed in the sun have been now been shattered and thanks to the nit picker :D I now know the spa terrace is at the bow of the ship (always get that confused on deck plans) which means it could also be a bit windy. This leads me to question - does this area get used????

It's never crowded... but it does get used by many.

Extremely windy on sea days! Staff will secure everything that could possibly take flight Take cover in the hot tubs or inside on the heated spa loungers.
