xboxwoman Posted September 14, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 14, 2014 Hi our travel agent said we had been upgraded from an obstructed view cabin but there has been no confirmation of this? I had read elsewhere that people got emails back saying they had been upgraded to balcony rooms, with new room codes. But when we printed out our etickets it had the same obstructed view room code on it.

You will not receive an email directly from the cruise line. If the upgrade was after the e-tickets had been created than you need to contact your TA and request him/her to contact the cruise line and request that the e-tickets be reissued. Rare LHT28 Posted September 14, 2014 #3 Share Posted September 14, 2014 Have you checked on the cruise line website under your account? It may show a different cabin number or not
Krazy Kruizers Posted September 14, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 14, 2014 On HAL -- if you are upgraded by HAL no matter whether you booked through a TA or through HAL -- it takes a couple of days for HAL to change the information on their site reflecting the new cabin number. When were you notified?

Cruisin' Chick Posted September 15, 2014 #6 Share Posted September 15, 2014 Are you sure you're getting upgraded to a different type of cabin? Sometimes the cruise line will move passengers to a cabin they consider an upgrade but it may be still within the same type of cabin (eg. inside to inside, OV to OV, etc.). Just some papers that list the reservation number and you don't need them to board.
