Movies on Reflection

Last year we sailed on one of the smaller Celebrity ships and we were surprised to find that the movie theatre had been removed and was now a meeting room. There were no movies shown in the evening.

We are re positioning this fall on the Eclipse and we are wondering if there are evening movies in a movie theatre on this ship. Does anyone have recent knowledge?

Slightly Confused... You mention two Ships in your post... Reflection & Eclipse

At any rate, on S-Class Ships the smaller entertainment space known as Celebrity Central (Deck 4 just outside the main theatre) is a space that is used for alternative entertainment... Movies, Late Night "Adult" Comedy, Celebrity Game Shows etc

Consult your copy of the Celebrity Today Newsletter for a schedule.

Hope this helps,

Cheers!

I believe that the ship without the movie theatre was the Constellation. The movie theatre space had been converted to a meeting space. No movies were shown in a theatre space.

When we were on the Reflection last, there was a movie theatre. We are aware we could look in the program. We are trying to determine before our arrival if there are movies or not.

Celebrity Central shows movies on the S class ships, which includes both Reflection and Eclipse. We were on Reflection in May --- typically, there would be a movie of the day, a fairly recent release, with several showings throughout the day and evening. I found it a very comfortable spot to watch a movie, easy exit too. This may vary according to who is the cruise director, however. We had Alex Yepremian (I think that spelling is right), and I seem to recall he was just back from vacation and planned to be on Reflection until December. Not sure if the OP is sailing Eclipse or Reflection, however.

Movies are shown in Celebrity Central as others have posted. It is not a very good area or experience trying to watch a movie. There are many interruptions of passengers walking in and out, many walking in early to get a seat for the next activity, so they don't care about the movie and will converse with each other or have their electronic devise on to pass the time, some will even have the sound on. Even with the sound off their screen creates light interference.

There is also the noise for the outside area when passengers are playing table tennis, or from other things going on in that area.

The picture quality on the screen is also very poor, and the sound is hit or miss, it is not surround sound or good quality either as it is more set up for presentations or a PA system.
