St. Thomas Synogogue

Does anyone know how long a walk it is from the Carnival port to the St. Thomas synogogue? I sort of found it on the google map but I am not sure his far it is from the port area? Also if we walk it is it a safe walk?

It's about 2 miles. You have to walk up a steep hill to get to Synagogue.

I don't know 411. From Havensight to the Coast Guard dock is one mile. Then to and up Crystal Gade, maybe 1/4 of a mile? The first part is flat, the hill up to the synagogue is a pretty good one. Still walkable if you are in decent shape. To the last part, yes, it is safe...

It all depends on where you start in Havensight. The pier is maybe 1/4 mile long, and you don't know where the ship will be at the pier so I take that into consideration when giving walking distance to town.

Thank you both for the info. I think we will take a morning excursion and then try to have the driver let us out near the synogogue.

That sounds like a good plan. That hill can be a challenge, especially in the heat!

about$5 pp but no strenuous walk up the hill but easy going down and you end up across from the post office at the start of town and then you can do your shopping or find a place for a drink or lunch.
