Transportation from Miami airport to Hilton FL Beach

Can anyone tell me the best way to travel from Miami airport to FL. We will be cruising on the Equinox in November from FL.

Is there anyway that I could perhaps pre book a taxi or shuttle?

I will also need transportation from FL back to Miami airport after the cruise.

We are Hilton Hhonours Club Members * ... So I would suggest you call the Hotel Concierge / Front Desk for their input first.

You might be pleasantly surprised, in that they'll either send a Shuttle for you, or else recommend a service (car or shuttle) that they work with often or feel is good.

* Hilton Hhonours is this hotel chain (and affiliated brands) Loyalty Club. It is free to join, only takes a few minutes to do so... And the benefits are great (a lot more to the program than just earning points towards free hotel stays). Check it out

Cheers!

The BEST way to do this journey is by taxi which could be pre-booked and waiting for you at arrivals. Our friends have just done it and it was $100 + tip. Not cheap by any means, but after 8-9 hours on an aeroplane and the nightmare of Miami immigration, you may see it as money well spent. There are alternatives of course, much, much cheaper but you would loose all the convenience of the taxi.

Larry's Limos is often suggested for Miami service.

American Shuttle will give you a quote on line; they are based at MIA.

A one-way car rental, with drop at or near FLL/PE is likely your cheapest option.

Good luck! :)

Depends on your Budget ?

Cheapest is without doubt - TRIRAIL they operate a FREE shuttle bus from Miami airport to the TRIrail station, then costs $3.75/pp from Miami to Fort Lauderdale. You will have to take a taxi the last few miles, from the FLL station to the hotel or you maybe lucky that the FREE connecting bus at FLL will drop you off at the hotel - check out their bus route maps at the various Rail Stations.

Trirail have extended their track into Miami Airport Terminal, unsure whether it is complete. If it is it will be even quicker and a better service.

Checkout http://www.trirail.com

The return journey is the same, saving you a fortune !

I always use the TRIrail, last time was February last year. We always use the Days Inn Hotel on Sheridan Street (Excellent) get off the train at Sheridan Street Station and their FREE shuttle bus will drop you off at the Hotel. Then it will cost you $5 /pp from the Hotel to the port terminal by the Hotel Shuttle bus.

We have used Larry's Limos before. Less expensive than a taxi. Service was okay (driver was busy watching soccer scores while driving  ).

Sometimes the hotels can offer a driver at a lower fare, but it's been our experience at the Hilton in FLL that their drivers are more expensive $110+. But still worth checking :)
