I read somewhere (and can't find it again) that you can purchase wine packages for the dining room on the first day of cruise. Anybody have more info on this? Like where to purchase, prices etc..... thanks.

Yes, you can purchase a package onboard at any bar, at a table set up, or in the dining room. This is good ANYWHERE on the ship.

I think you are looking for the Viva Vino wine packages. Type it into the 'Search' box and a lot of posts will pop up one post gives a list of all the available wines with prices.

the table will be set up in the atrium area, just look for the table that has the most people waiting, LOl Seriously, it is a great deal and you can drink the wine anywhere, dining room, your cabin, at a bar, wherever.

I searched the viva vino and got prices etc. Now, if we buy 4 bottles to start and decide we want to buy another 4, can we do that or do they all have to be purchased at the same time? Thanks again!

Yes, you can buy another package later in the cruise. :)
