Parking at Port Everglades

Is it tough to get a parking spot at Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale? We're on the Island in December. According to cruisett.com there will be 3 other ships at Port Everglades on the same day.

Any advise about parking there is appreciated.

you will see lots of info about parking. Have not heard of any difficulty getting parking.

We have been on 3 Princess cruises out of Fort Lauderdale in the last 12 months . So far we have had no issues parking at the pier and plan to do so again for our upcoming November cruise. Keep in mind that although there are 3 ships in port, they are all at different piers with separate facilities.

 

The only issue I can think of is if you plan on using one of the off port parking facilities that service all of the different cruise companies. If one of the two "Displacement of the Seas" are in port there might be some additional traffic in the area you may want to consider if using an off port facility.

We've been parking at the cruise terminal area for years and have never had a problem getting a space. :)

Parking there is easy and plentiful, unless you're looking for a handicapped spot--those fill up fast.

We never had a problem getting a parking space. During our August cruise on the Caribbean Princess, we arrived around 10:15am & got a parking spot on Level 2 about a 1 to 2 minute walk to the elevator. Closest parking we have had to an elevator on that low of a level :).
