NCL Jewel Kids Club charge?

I think I just read that NCL charges for kids to go to kids club on port days until 7pm, but not on sea days? Anyone have to pay for their kids to use the kids club? I've never been charged by Carnival!

They charge $6 per meal on port days if you don't take them to eat yourself. There's also a babysitting charge any day after 10:30pm.

The NCL kids clubs are closed on sea days at meals times (12-2 and 5-7) so I suppose if they have to get a meal and bring it to the kids club for you, they charge. For the vast majority of the time, there isn't a charge for the kids club. We've never left our dd in the kids club during a port stop, so I'm not exactly sure how that works.

According to NCL's website, these are the times you will be required to pay a fee:

 

Splash Academy and Entourage are complimentary, but there is a port day Meal Fee of $6.00 per child/per meal, which applies for the supervision of children during meal times. Depending on the arrival of the ship into port, Port Day Meals may include a combination of breakfast, lunch or dinner. Please check the activity guide on board for the Port Play Meal(s) time slots.

 

 

 

 

Please also note that babysitting after 10:30 pm also requires a $6 per hour fee.

True, there is no charge for sitting while in port, you only pay $6 for the meal they serve your child while in port.

 

As others mentioned, you pay $6 per hour after hours after 10:30pm and up until I believe 1 or 1:30am
