Timing for Transatlantic deals

When you find a price you like, book it.

That said, we've done 3 TA's and have booked within 90 days on all three--got some great deals. But, we weren't going to be upset if we didn't find a cruise. If you have to have a certain time, ship, itinerary, cabin, etc. book sooner.

If you are flexible and can accept the possibility of not finding a deal, or not taking the cruise, wait. Often (but not always) prices go down after final payment dates.

We almost always book 2-3 months out; finding the right airfare can be problematic, but it has always worked for us with FF miles.

And inquire about airfare through the cruise line. We have done TA's on Princess and Celebrity and Cunard and I could not even come close to the airfare on my own compared to what they offered .

I plan on a Transatlantic cruise in April 2015. When is the best time to purchase?

Are 90 days before departure cutting it too close?

I want a good deal.

Thanks:)

It would not be bad to book now, but keep checking for a price drop. lock in your cabin.
