We were there several years ago and enjoyed it very much. Our family of six will be on a cruise in December. I was wondering approx. what the current cab fares are from the cruise port to Ardastra. Would it be better to take a bus?

Private cab will cost $11 for 2 ppl / $3 for ea. additional person.

If there is a shuttle van going that day, it's $4 pp Plus tip, of course.

Thank you for this information. Going on our own will save lots of money. The ship's excusion is very expensive.

You could take the local jitney bus, I believe it's bus #10 but I could be mistaken on that. It is $1.25 PP and will leave you off a couple of blocks away.

Hi- We took the bus back from Ardastra, but it was a bit of a walk to

the bus stop- so be sure to ask about the distance if you have a time concern.

I googled Ardastra and the directions are listed there along with the information on which jitney to take and how far the walk is from the bus stop. Since I havent' gone yet, and am taking the ships excursion I dont want to give you misinformation, but it's all there on their web site. (reason we are doing tour is friend has walking issues and we dont want to be left behind) :eek:

Yes, it is. You just have to pick up the bus on the opposite side of the road.
