Platinum Status

I am 13 days from Platinum. :D If I booked a back to back of 7 days each how would the status be changed. Would the system recognize the change in status for the second leg? Maybe I would have to go to Guest Services and make sure it was fixed? I am just curious if anyone knows how this would work. Thanks!

It should change on your second leg....My husband achieves Gold level half way in to our next cruise and it already reflects his Gold status on our documents.

I had a b2b booked and with my days I would turn Platinum on the second cruise.

When I booked the cruises I made sure carnival linked the cruises as a b2b. Because of this carnival had me as Platinum from day one of the first cruise. So had priority boarding and free laundry from day one. The free laundry is very nice to have on a b2b cruise.

 

My luggage tags and boarding pass for both cruises all showed that I was platinum.

we were the same, our 2 leg of the b2b made us platium so we got platium for both cruises. Nice

We also got status first leg in a similar situation. We did call guest services with the request as we did a mock check in and it didn't reflect the status on either leg.

Nice! Well, that's a great reason for a b2b in my opinion. Like I need a reason, lol !!!!! Thanks everyone.
