Sailing into Venice on Azura

For those of you who are lucky enough to be sailing into Venice, we have just come back from a cruise and we thought it was fabulous.

Wonderful...really enjoyed it...brought back lovely memories of our sail into Venice. When we cruised there...a couple of years ago..we docked right in the centre...just left of St Mark's Square.It wasn't a small ship...Star Princess which is exactly the same as the Azura. In the evening we sailed round to the main cruise terminal...absolutely wonderful.

Magpieman mentioned that big cruise ships will not be allowed next year...does anyone know what size they will still allow.

No ships over 96000 tons allowed from this november so no more sail ins on Azura and Ventura, or the new Britannia. Oceana is replacing Ventura next year for fly cruises.
