Mutumbojimbo Posted October 10, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 10, 2014 Does this ship has guys burgers r burrito bar?what do they have to eat other then the dining room Lido Buffet, Deli, Grill, Mongolian Wok, Pizza, Taste Bar, and Room Service. I'll definitely miss Guy's and Blue Iguana on our upcoming trip but there are still lots of choices.
fuddrules Posted October 10, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 10, 2014 Lido Buffet, Deli, Grill, Mongolian Wok, Pizza, Taste Bar, and Room Service. Yes and they are all better than eating the dinning room. Eating the dinning room is tough and tends to leave a glue taste in my mouth.

Eating the dinning room is tough and tends to leave a glue taste in my mouth. Woah. I think this might be the first time I've ever heard someone prefer the buffet over the MDR (which is perfectly fine, just surprising). I nearly always prefer the food in the MDR over anything on the ship other than specialty restaurants. Though I'm a sucker for having a wait staff instead of serving myself. andy.capitan Posted October 10, 2014 #7 Share Posted October 10, 2014 Cruised on the Elation several times. Loved everything in the MDR and the crew are the best.
mskillern Posted October 10, 2014 #8 Share Posted October 10, 2014 The Elation JUST got out of drydock. I don't know what all has been done. We sail the 23rd of this month. I hope they have added a few new things.
Magic City Cruiser Posted October 11, 2014 #9 Share Posted October 11, 2014 We sail on her October 13. As I recall, it's the first sailing after drydock so I'll let you know! And, I'm with Ryan, I've sailed her a few times and I love the MDR!
PresDuLac Posted October 11, 2014 #10 Share Posted October 11, 2014 (edited) First sailing after drydock started on Oct. 9 - a 4 day. The ship was basically refreshed and no food or bar venues were added. You can check out the deck plans, dining choices, and more on the Carnival's updated site here:Elation Deck Plans and more You can also check out Carnival's new ship page with webcams and ship tracking. dave_k58 Posted October 11, 2014 #11 Share Posted October 11, 2014 I think I read that the upgrades were basically carpeting and furniture type improvements. Nothing changes as far as food venues. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
