Nalagh Posted October 20, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 20, 2014 It means you have a coffee maker and tea. Hope this helps, Cherie
oma&opa Posted October 20, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted October 20, 2014 It does ! Thank you. We've not been on a ship with this in the cabin. I'm impressed!
shealea Posted October 20, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 20, 2014 a year ago in a balcony cabin, we didn't have a coffee maker. It was a pot that heated up water, and then you had packets of instant coffee. The instant coffee was pretty good. But I would have preferred a regular coffee maker. Next time if I had that hot water pot, I would request that it was changed out for a regular coffee maker.
Pattilabelle73 Posted October 21, 2014 #7 Share Posted October 21, 2014 It does ! Thank you. We've not been on a ship with this in the cabin. I'm impressed! This will be my 1st time having this too. I love my tea, so it will be nice to be able to make some in my cabin.

I've heard that there are a couple of "older" ships that don't have the coffee makers, only a "kettle", so to speak, but the newer classes, Dawn class, Jewel class and certainly the new Mega ships all have the coffee makers. The suites are the same... the older ships don't always have the Lavazza machines. Just sayin'.... Cheers

MagnoliaBlossom Posted October 21, 2014 #10 Share Posted October 21, 2014 Any time you have a kettle and wish a coffee maker, or vice versa, just ask your room steward and they will swap it for you. These are only standard in balcony rooms but if you ask nicely you can get one in other categories, too. This coffee maker looks as though it brews the single cups, but more often I have seen the four cup drip pots with the filter packs.
