RetesGirl3 Posted October 20, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 20, 2014 Way too much for me! Enjoy your balcony and nice location! Think of all the drinks and excursions you can have with that money!
keepap Posted October 20, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 20, 2014 I agree with RetesGirl3...... that's money you can use for more important things like..... DRINKS!!!!! LOL! To me a balcony mid ship sounds nice, sure the suite will be "grand" (:D), but honestly how much time will you spend in there?!
kelkel2 Posted October 20, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 20, 2014 That's too much for me! Especially with only one sea day. Most of the time you will be off the ship enjoying the islands!!!
falkcor Posted October 20, 2014 #5 Share Posted October 20, 2014 absolutely not. especially not on that itinerary!
springs741 Posted October 20, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 20, 2014 No. While it would be a wonderful upsell it is not worth the money especially with only one sea day. And I think the asking price is too much even if it were more sea days.
bury me at sea Posted October 20, 2014 #7 Share Posted October 20, 2014 One more no vote. I wouldn't pay half of that amount.
shipty2 Posted October 20, 2014 #8 Share Posted October 20, 2014 We spend more time in our cabin than most and I would still say no way.

christyran1228 Posted October 20, 2014 #10 Share Posted October 20, 2014 We are leaving on the Valor in 20 days ... we are in a mid-ship Lido balcony. I wouldn't do that for $550 TOTAL ... much less $1100! With price drops we are at like $1200 total for the cabin. Yikes.
wr813 Posted October 20, 2014 #11 Share Posted October 20, 2014 No, with that money just book another cruise when you find a good price.
Swampbaby Posted October 20, 2014 #12 Share Posted October 20, 2014 No way. That is out of line for what you would actually get to use. Port intensive is NOT a good choice for something like that.

I am sure that the Grand Suites are amazing, but I would spend that $1500 on fun on the ship. Have a great cruise! :)

Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but these rock-bottom low prices have me a little nervous about the cruise.
KPfromCT Posted October 20, 2014 #15 Share Posted October 20, 2014 That's a WHOLE 'nother cruise!!!:D:D I agree with you, and everyone else. WAY too port intensive of an itinerary. You won't get to enjoy it. Have a great cruise!!! Hoping to do this itinerary in June, on the Liberty.:D
