snorkelman Posted October 22, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 22, 2014 So, are you travel agents seeing any price drops after last week's media stories about possible Ebola on a Carnival ship? I know there were price drops after the 'Poop cruise' on the Triumph and after the Costa Concordia disaster, so I was wondering whether this Ebola stuff had any impact on prices, or whether it may be too early to tell. snorkelman Posted October 22, 2014 Author #2 Share Posted October 22, 2014 BTW, it may be difficult to tell, because I wouldn't expect any in-your-face admissions such as the humorous link below http://i62.tinypic.com/2mx49og.jpg
FlaMilkman Posted October 23, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 23, 2014 As far as I can tell there weren't any unusual promotions that could be tied directly to the ebola scare. Carnival has been running numerous promotions the past couple of months (Past Guest Appreciation, Fall into Savings, More the Merrier, etc.) but that is fairly standard at this time of the year.
