3 days in Puerto Rico

we are spending 3 days in PR, prior to cruising. We have done Old San Juan, and El Morro....can you recommend other sites to visit...also, can you provide the names of tour companies that you have been pleased with?? thx

Check out Tours with Ellis. He is on Facebook and also on Craigslist. He took us to the rainforest, showed us the sights then took us to a swimming hole. It was a short hike, he handed us a loaf of bread and towels. We swam with the fish in the rainforest and they are so tame they eat out of your hand. When we were done there, he took us to the food kiosks and we experienced some local food. He took us to the cruise ship terminal at the end of the day. This was one of the highlights of our trip. If this is not something you are interested in, he offers several different tours. I highly recommend him. My daughter and I are going back to PR in January for a week and have another tour booked with him.

Do you plant to rent a car? There are so many do-it-yourself options that renting a car can open up for you. Tours take you mostly to tourist-y places. But you're missing out on "what's just over that hill" kind of stuff that's just as or more interesting that the tour places.

Our family visited San Juan via cruise last month, and the best decision we made was to book a tour with Carlos from Charlies Custom tours. The best tour we have taken. If he is available, definitely book him. Research his website and other sites for reviews. His great reputation and positive reviews are well deserved!
