fridaythe13th Posted November 3, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 3, 2014 Is there a good place to look for sea glass? The more Rocky the better. What is Smiths Cove like? Would the North side be better? TIA

drew sailbum Posted November 6, 2014 #4 Share Posted November 6, 2014 Sea glass is a bit of a rarity. Cayman just has not had a history of throwing glass bottles in the sea in any significant amounts.
WinstonsMom Posted November 14, 2014 #5 Share Posted November 14, 2014 Was in Grand Cayman last week and went to Cemetary Beach specifically looking for sea glass. Found some, not a ton, but enough to make the search worthwhile as part of a couple of hours spent at the beach. The beach itself was beautiful, easy to get to, not crowded but with enough people that you feel comfortable being there. We took a taxi there (about 6 per person one way) and then took the public bus back to the pier ($2.50 per person). The bus stop is right across the road from the public access path to the beach. We waited approximately 30 seconds for a bus to arrive!
