Bringing soda

Hey guys, my family of 4 (2 cabins) wants to bring a 12 pack soda for each of us. To limit luggage we want to split the 48 sodas into two carry ons. are we allowed to do this?

You should be fine as long as the drinks are still in their original packaging. I would just buy a large tote to put the cases of soda into and carry that on.
