2 Day Carnival to Ensenada in January (Vibes/Weather?)

As my username suggests I am planning a bachelor party for my friend early next year. I have done two 3-day Carnivals to Ensenada, both bachelor parties in September '12 and July '14. I had a great time both times and would like to try the 2-day Carnival to Ensenada in late January. Has anyone done Baja cruises in both winter and summer? I am curious how different both the weather and "vibe" could be in January. Both prior bachelor cruises were obviously warm and full of young people flirting, partying splashing on the deck. Is the pool even usable in January? Is the age demographic much different or about the same?

It's going to be colder. If you want warm weather and a pool scene, pick another destination.
