signature help

Hi folks... I'm trying to edit my current signature, but I keep getting a message when I try to save saying :

 

1. Your signature cannot be longer than 4000 characters including BB code markup.

 

What am I doing wrong? I don't have anywhere near 4000 characters in my signature, and I notice that some folks signatures are wayyyy bigger than my. Am I missing something?

Got it figured out. :) Must have been a quirk in the system, for once I deleted absolutely everything and started all over again:), it worked properly.

At the top of the page select User CP then Customize Profile or to Edit Signature.
