dave_k58 Posted November 16, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 16, 2014 Most people get a cab and go to Mr. Sanchos, Nachi Cocum, Paradise Beach or something. They are all inclusive. Cabs are plentiful and right at the end of the long mall you have to walk through to debark from the ship.
Bookbug53 Posted November 16, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 16, 2014 They will have a large board with prices noted for cabs to the various beaches so no surprises. We did Nachi last December and really enjoyed it. Around $50 pp for the all inclusive. Do a search and check out the ports of call board. You can reserve a lot of the AIs on line ahead of time. kabux Posted November 17, 2014 #4 Share Posted November 17, 2014 Look on the Cozumel board. I'd highly recommend Paradise Beach - taxi to it is reasonable price and distance and admission is also cheap. Food/drinks not included in price but were excellent! Huge great pool and beautiful beach. Free wifi is also a bonus! Will definitely go back again next time we are in Coz!
tsconley19 Posted November 20, 2014 #5 Share Posted November 20, 2014 (edited) I also recommend Paradise Beach Club if you want just a beach day w/o all inclusive. $3 admission fee. Food and drink PAYG. Includes use of pool, showers, beach/ pool chairs. Water toys extra. Located next to Carlos & Charlie's. Cab with tip was $20 each way. We were there in April and had a great time. There was a lot of seaweed on the beach at that time. Not sure if that's the norm. Will be there again in a few weeks on The Brilliance out of Tampa. In my opinion, we will be eating before we get off the ship so won't do the AI. Most AI's run around $50/ person. You could easily spend that at Paradise Beach Club if you plan on eating and drinking a lot. Tom Edited November 20, 2014 by tsconley19

Not sure if that's the norm. .Tom Most of the popular beach clubs are lined up along the same side of the island - if there is a water quality issue caused by weather/tides at one, it will likely affect them all. PB is a good non-AI choice, with great facilities, a nice beach and a HUGE pool. Team up with another couple to save on cab fare - same price no mater if 2 or 4 are riding in the taxi. ;)
