Princess 11 Day On Your Own Tour

We are sailing north bound on the Star next May 2015 on the 11 day On Your Own Tour,7 day cruise and 4 day land tour 1 night at MCKINLEY PRINCESS LODGE 2 nights at DENALI PRINCESS WILDERNESS LODGE and 1 night at a Fairbanks Hotel don't know if this is a Princess lodge or not. Have already book excursions with Princess since most are sold out. Question I know we have to pay for food at lodges , but are there any other differences .This tour is no longer showing for Princess for this date starts on May 16, 2015. Thanks for any help you might have.

There are other food options at all the hotels except the McKinley Princess. Budget 50% more than you do at home.

This is first time doing a land tour in Alaska we always just did the cruise , so we are looking forward to this trip. We did get the Wilderness Tundra tour , do you have any other ideas.

Princess, in the past has refunded the TWT. For significant savings, the Toklat shuttle goes to exactly the same distance.

You also might want to consider a second entry into the park, lots of opportunity for wildlife early season.
