carlissaandisaacsmommy Posted November 19, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 19, 2014 We are wanting to schedule a cruise in April and "give" it to my parents and kids as a Christmas surprise. We are relatively sure that my husband will be able to get the week off in April, but it's possible that we will have to reschedule to another date. I am planning to book with the Early Saver rate. IF we have to change the date. (NOT CANCEL), will we have to pay a cancellation or change fee? Sent from my iPhone using Forums

jko121 Posted November 19, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 19, 2014 Do a paper gift certificate if you have to then wait to book until you're sure of the dates.
carlissaandisaacsmommy Posted November 19, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted November 19, 2014 How much is the change fee? We really wanted to book it with the special right now that expires tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
bury me at sea Posted November 19, 2014 #5 Share Posted November 19, 2014 Changing the date IS cancelling one cabin and booking a new one.

dadroy Posted November 19, 2014 #7 Share Posted November 19, 2014 You could just book without ES if you are not sure. If the price is really good it will probably not go down anyway. And if the price is not so good then you could book later when the prices may come down. It is a chance you can take. The $50 per person fee can add up if there are 4 of you or more. Ken076 Posted November 19, 2014 #8 Share Posted November 19, 2014 Just to clarify: the deposit is "non-refundable", in that you'd have to pay a $50pp penalty and the rest of your deposit would be held toward (any) cruise for the next year.
