I found this on the Quantas website. As you will see, for international travel to the US on all Quantas flights, your baggage weight limits are much more than you think. The 20kg limit is only for the Dash 8 planes that Q flies domestically. It also only applies to any flights domestically within New Zealand. For all international flights, each person is allowed two bags at 32kg (70lbs) each. It makes no difference if you're flying coach, business or first, the rules are the same.

If I am reading the site correctly, that applies to North and South America (which covers lahore's trip) and some other places, but not to all International travel. It looks like Asia and Europe are limited to 20 kg total per passenger.
