Blondie008 Posted November 26, 2014 #26 Share Posted November 26, 2014 No, starboard only ... The stairs are leading down from the spa reception desk right next to the Persian Garden entrance to some of the treatment rooms a deck below. On deck 11 there is a door opening to the isle of some inside staterooms. This isle leads to the main starboard corridor. Thanks for your help! What cabin would you choose bearing in mind I must be port side - for the easiest access to the persian gardens. I think I might have picked a noisy cabin going by a comment I have read. I thought we were under Aquapuncture - but read a comment saying it was under the aqua spa cafe  Any suggestions for a cabin choice appreciated . Thanks for any input. samisail Posted March 20, 2017 #27 Share Posted March 20, 2017 We also gladly decline the upgrade - I really really dislike the overhang.Just returned from Silhouette 1529 which was great. No noise at all, great location for spa and gym... loved it! Hello Miaminice, just wondering if you could answer a quick question for us. In Silhouette cabin 1529, is the bed near the bathroom or the balcony? We will be in that cabin for a cruise in May! Thank you!
Rare hcat Posted March 20, 2017 #28 Share Posted March 20, 2017 We often stick with A2 although eligible for the uograde. We base our choices on potential noise rathrr thsn sun on balcony..ship changes direction so sun/ shade changes. Suggest you AVOID area under Aquaspa kitchen..heard it is noisy
melody888 Posted April 3, 2017 #29 Share Posted April 3, 2017 Hi Matt, we just booked the 1533. Is the bed or the sofa near the balcony door? regards Silke Just returned from Equinox (14 Night Med Cruise), stayed in 1533 (A2) No noise from any direction. Great location for exercising at the gym, as it is very close and you don't have to walk sweating around the ship. BLU is at the other end, but that was ok for us. We have booked a cabin close to 1533 for our next cruise in 2016 with the Eclipse. I happily skipped the upgrading option (CC member) to A1, as I don't like the overhang and don't want to stay below the pool deck. Matt
