Change in upcoming Regatta itinerary

In case booked passengers missed it, got word from my TA today that Friday's 7 day Western Caribbean Regatta itinerary has suddenly been changed to eliminate Cozumel...replaced with Costa Maya. Apparently the "Ironman" race this Sunday will block access to the Cozumel port. Ya think they could have figured this out sooner???? Oceania says they will have a variety of shore excursions for the new port available from Destination Services when we board…so much for much cheaper private all inclusive resort day pass I arranged for in Cozumel….Oh well, still looking forward to our first cruise on an R class ship.
