monkeybone Posted December 3, 2014 #26 Share Posted December 3, 2014 Is anyone a Gold or VIP CAS member on this cruise? If so, how do you get the Spa perk at the Spa or did you see a casino host once on board? And how is the casino for this cruise.....anyone win? meatball_nyc Posted December 4, 2014 #27 Share Posted December 4, 2014 (edited) Sorry you guys missed GSC today. If anyone happens to be on the Waterfront outside Malting's having drinks after dinner, please say hi to a server there named Dancho. Tell him that Miss Robin and her son Brian say hello. He looks like Johnny Knoxville with his Rayban sunglasses on. Enjoy the rest of your cruise! Happy Sailing! P.S. Watch out for Dancho during the day at the main pool. He will spray you with water from his water bottle ;) ~Robin Every Day at Sea is a Great Day 2014 July Breakaway Edited December 4, 2014 by meatball_nyc

You will get 2 day passes. The spa is very nice. We were on last week and we had a spa balcony and went to the spa almost everyday. Very relaxing specially with the no so good weather we had. Will they be able to do it as soon as we board the ship? I worried they will sell out. I would like to book the diner and get the two days ASAP It's the NYE cruise  Edited December 4, 2014 by monkeybone
Bronxcutie Posted December 7, 2014 #30 Share Posted December 7, 2014 We are on our way back to NYC! It was my first cruise and I had an amazing time! Just a few things: The Manhattan Room!!!! The food is amazing! I don't know how Norwegian keeps it free. It is truly five-star! Once we ate there, we no longer had a desire to eat in specialty restaurants. We were treated like queens! O'Sheehans-It's just ok to me. The service is VERY slow. The prime rib was good. Not as good as the Manhattan Room, but good. Rock of Ages was a great show!! If you are offended by profanity and sexual innuendo, it's not for you! I don't know why parents insisted on bringing children to the show. I would never bring my 2 year old to that show. The Second City: The family show was great. I am a new actress and love improv. I had a lot of respect for the cast until I saw the adult show. I am no prude and I get comedy, but the reality is we are on a cruise ship and not at Caroline's comedy club in NYC. They blatantly mocked black women and Asians. My friend and I were offended and we could see that many of the other African Americans in the audience were as well. We lodged a complaint. I don't believe we were the only ones. They pulled the skits.

rob111 Posted December 7, 2014 #34 Share Posted December 7, 2014 Wife and I are just off the Breakaway. Had a great time. I got selected for Deal or No Deal and won $463 in the atrium. Down to the final 2 cases that were $30 and $1,000 and I took the deal based on a louder audience reaction to my asking if I should take it or not. Incredible experience. antsnanny Posted December 8, 2014 #38 Share Posted December 8, 2014 Does anyone know what happened to the lady who was airlifted from the ship on Saturday? It was very interesting to watch but sad for the family. I only heard it was an elderly lady and that her husband was very upset. (of course) This is the second time this year we were onboard the BA when there was a rescue. In Feb. it was a Marine helicopter who responded as we were closer to one of their bases. It was very interesting to watch and both times I felt very proud and grateful for our awesome military. My thoughts and prayers go out to her and her family. I met a woman the first day who said she had cancer and was doing her bucket list because she had 3 months to live. I know it wasn't her I saw her on Sunday getting off the ship. Nice lady I just didn't know what to say to her. Ironic I met her every day smoking on the waterfront. I guess at that point it doesn't matter. It wasn't lung cancer it was cervical. Very sad.
