Buying Princess vacation protection after final payment

Is it possible to buy after final payment ? TA had replied to my question about the cost, but did not mention it when we gave OK and CC number for final payment. As we now have had time to look at the details of the plan we are interested in purchasing. Is it too late? Found mentions about paying at final payment buy none about afterwards.

I recently tried to buy the insurance after final payment and it was not possible.

It has to be purchased by the official final payment date. I say official because travel agents usually have a final payment date a few days before it's actually due.

Thank you. You must have been disappointed, as I am...:( Lesson learned for me to be more proactive and not trust TA to menton all things like those to me.

Google trip insurance and you will find companies that you can buy travel insurance from after final payment. They won't cover pre-existing conditions, but you will have other valuable coverage.

My concern was the health insurance but we were fine. You might want to check if your credit card covers cancellation

I was on the Emerald Princess when my wife got sick by the time I got home the total bill was about $7,500.00 and we lost the second 10 days of our cruise. GET THE INS.!!!!!!!

you can still get insurance from a third party site. While I am healthy and dont anticipate any issues while on a cruise, I always get insurance prior to travelling.
