Virgin America out of FLL, anyone done it?

Five us of coming home from FLL off the Oasis, I am flying Southwest to a business conference, but the family is taking Virgin America home.

 

Anyone have experience with Virgin at FLL, what does the line look like to check bags? Skycap and/or inside? Are there kiosks to print boarding passes, or should I do it on the ship?

 

We will be off the Oasis on a Saturday, hitting the airport around 9AM. I know everyday is a little different but tell me if you have done Virgin, what was it like?

I've flown Virgin from FLL to CA a few times, but I don't remember the answers to your questions. I flew with checked luggage 3 yrs ago and had no checked luggage last year. There weren't any problems.
