Liarsville Salmon Bake, Skagway, booking

Interested in doing the liarsville salmon bake and gold panning. We will have quite a bit of OBC on our Celebrity Millennium cruise mid-june.

 

From those that have book this excursion, should I be OK if I book it as soon as I board? Otherwise, I could book it directly through Liarsville now. Just would be nice to save some things for my obc.

We did Liarsville and Gold panning and was disapointed with the tour. The show was corny and not very funny.As for panning for gold not good either, was expecting a chance to find real gold in a stream and not in a trough.

Did not do the salmon bake here, the facility looked really run down.

 

We did a excellent salmon bake in Juneau through the ship.

I did this tour as I was with 83yr. old dad and I thought it would suit him. Corny is the right word. I would not bother. Go to the Salmon Bake in Juneau. Does not have to be booked through X.

Thanks for the heads up. Was trying to not spend the time in Juneau as we have a rental car, but we can do that one. Do you think the ships Juneau salmon bake will fill up before we board? Hoped to use OBC?

We also did Liarsville Salmon Bake and Gold Panning excursion. The food was just OK, the show was corny and we were rushed through the gold panning because another group was coming in behind us. Our bus group couldn't wait to get back on the bus and get out of there.

That was by far the worst excursion ever...Food is a lousy buffet..show is pointless and as everyone says corney ...

Gold panning a joke...give u a pan with a tiny flake of gold in it..
