When in doubt about what will be open on Christmas, just book an excursion offered thru your cruise line even if you don't normally do this sort of thing.

At least you KNOW you will go on the ones offered by the ship. :)

I can't speak for Cozumel but when we have been on other islands we have found that many places have been open.

 

If you like the beach, you can make your fall back plan a nice day at the beach.

Look on facebook for a group called Cozumel 4 You. When in doubt, check with the locals.
