I just stumbled upon a wonder travelogue on PBS concerning the European Christmas markets. Perhaps your local PBS station is showing it and you can set your DVRs. It's a 30 minute program.

What was the name of the show? Was the title of it European Christmas Markets? I just notices a 2 hour Rick Steves show on PBS called Rick Steves European Christmas last night.

You can rent or buy the PBS video on iTunes, it is 4.99 to buy. The video is a Rhine river cruise , stopping at the German towns along the river including Basel and Lucerne and describing some of the castles along the way.

The name was "European Christmas Markets". It was not a Rick Steves show. The narrator spoke with a German accent.
