Hairy Chest Contest...

How do they determine who will be in the hairy chest contest? I'm taking two cruise newbies in February and would love to have them "chosen". They have no idea what to expect on the cruise!

That I knew...I've witnessed a few of the contests...just didn't know how they were picked!

You simply volunteer.

 

But it's all production. The winner may have nothing to do with hair, and may not even end up male. It's whomever entertain the most and interacts best with the host.

 

Unless the host is bad. Then it all goes back to the hirsute.

You're right about the entertaining part. whoever puts on the most macho, arms muscle moving, usually wins. I've seen some older men win, but they entertained the best.

Just ask the CD staff and be really upbeat. Hair is not important, its all about your personality. :p

As a 3 time winner, Elation, Victory, and Breeze, just be there 10 minutes before scheduled start of the contest ready to jump forward when they call for men.
