We are sailing again on the Princess Regal on the 4th Jan 2015 we only booked this because Princess had a offer for the last cruise we booked for Jan 2014 that we could put the cost of the 2014 cruise towards a future cruise so the 2015 so we are paying $109 plus tax each for a balcony on the Regal.

Its a great price but I don't think Princess is for me long term.

We have sailed with Carnival(19 times) Princess ( 3 times after this) P&O ( 2 times) and Royal Caribbean ( 21 times) We started our cruising with Carnival and jump over to RCCL.

We book a balcony or above but feel that the balcony space on Princess is a bit of a joke last year on the Royal we had 2 loungers that did not have the space to use

Be aware that most Princess ships have much better balcony space than the Royal/Regal. The Grand-class ships have 9'x9' balconies on all Caribe deck standard balcony cabins. Other deck balconies are 9'x5'. The Royal/Regal are not "typical" Princess ships but are a new class.
